Garrett Yaeger reviewed it on September 01, 2010.

The Graduate released their second full length on Tuesday September 31st. After Anhedonia I had high expectations of the new record, it felt like forever before this record was finished but it is well worth the wait. Although similar to Anhedonia the album as a whole has a bit more of a fluid pop atmosphere.

There's are certainly some 90s pop rock similarities you could point out (Jimmy Eat World), and paired with the use of their signature dotted eight delay riffs, it creates quite a pleasant and unique experience. It also seems as if basically all the vocals on this album are in a higher register than that of their past material, reaching into the area of such acts as Circa Survive. Along with the incredibly impressive lead vocals there are multiple sections of gang vocals and nonsense syllable accents, which isn't anything new, but certainly makes for some more powerful and singalong choruses.

The theme on the album has definite similarities to Anhedonia but in a more refined fashion. The album could most definitely be a radio contender, take that as you will, but I see no reason why it wouldn't be categorized as radio pop rock with an edge.
