Advice and Commentary on Selling Tickets

I play drums in this weird ambient rock band.  About a year ago I told myself that I would never hustle my friends to sell tickets to one of my shows ever again.  I got a text message earlier this week that said we’re playing a battle of the bands and we have to sell 50 tickets.  So much for my too-cool-for-school stance on selling tickets.
