1.     R.I.P Dj AM

Celebrity Dj, DJ AM, real name Adam Goldstein, died this week , he was 36. He was found dead in a New York City apartment friday afternoon. He had a reality show in the works with MTV, the future of which is now uncertain . An autopsy found undigested pills in his body which suggests an overdose as cause of death. The funeral was held wednesday Sept. 2 in Los Angeles. Police are suspecting a suicide , and friends and family at the funeral recall his 12 step addiciton recovery process.

2.     Michael Jackson Finally Buried

Michael Jackson's burial finally took place this week on Sept. 3 in Glendale California. The event yeilded plenty of stars , friends, and family, as well as fans.

3.     Oasis Officially Breaks Up

Noel Gallagher has officially quit Oasis, bringing the band to an end it seems. Details are unclear but allegedly Liam's drinking had something to do with the decision.

4.     YouTube Cuts Deal with PRS For Music Videos

YouTube will once again contain music videos , but don't get too excited, it will only be in the UK. After six months the dispute between PRS and YouTube over royalties has been brought to an end pending a licensing deal.

Despite the lack of the lead singer, Sublime plans to reunite with a new singer for The Cyprus Hill Smoke Out.

6.     Sean Lennon Recreates Photo of Father

Son of John Lennon, Sean Lenon has created a bit of a stir recreating the famous picture of John and Yoko taken hours before his death. The difference is that it is Sean's girlfriend who gets naked for this one.

7.     Jay Z Announces Fall Tour

After his album release of The Blueprint 3 and the Madison Square Garden performance to go with it, Jay Z will be embarking on a full tour .
