A terrible tragedy occured yesterday with the death of pop icon Michael Jackson. A hit felt all over the world, Michael Jackson is the widely recognizeable music figure. His sales have already sky rocketed due to his death but there is some misinformation in the news reports, something I'd like to keep an eye on. 

A lot of the news casters were saying he has the number one album of all time, and while he is close The Eagles Greatist Hits have him by about a million records. It is possible that his sales just in the past day have already surpassed this. I am 100% sure they will if they haven't yet, but more interesting, I would like to keep track of how much they will. 

So to honor his death and let the King of Pop go out on top do you part and go buy Thriller. Despite his recent deal with AEG Jackson was in serious debt, roughly $400 million. I'm not sure if that will ever be paid off, but there's is no doubt that his legacy which had been seriously scarred over the past ten years with scandal is going to make a huge comeback. 

My regards go out to his friends, and family who are experience the death of a loved one, but also to his fans who are experiencing the loss of a staple in their lives.
