M. Ward's new solo album, A Wasteland Companion, is set for release on Merge April 10. The video for the new track "The First Time I Ran Away" is here. Directed by Joel Trussell (who also helmed the "Chinese Translation" video), it features a loose interpretation of the lyrics in animated form.
