No matter what MySpace tells you, Jimmy Eat World hasn't left Interscope.,Although the band's MySpace site listed it as an unsigned act, the band has every intention of completing its contract with the major label. Frontman Jim Adkins said the mix-up was caused by the act's independent release of its Clarity Live tour album.
"We are currently recording and writing new songs," Adkins said in a statement. "Submitting another full-length album will fulfill our contract with Universal."
